Getting help, and getting your record back.

Write to salaam@yabqa.app. If something is wrong with your saved route, say what you last did before it happened — that is usually enough to find it.

If you have an account, sign in on the device and your route comes back from your account. Where two devices disagree, Yabqa keeps everything both of them recorded rather than picking a winner — a sitting you completed is never discarded to resolve a conflict.

If you were not signed in, the route lived only in that browser, and clearing browser data removes it. There is no copy anywhere else for us to restore, which is the plain reason Yabqa asks you to make an account after your first sitting.

Check the spam folder first. If it is not there, wait a few minutes and ask for another — codes are limited to stop them being abused. Asking for a new code stops the previous one working, so use the most recent email. If it still does not arrive, write to us with the address you used.

Recitation audio is streamed and needs a connection; everything else in Yabqa works offline. If audio fails, the passage still opens and you can carry on reading — nothing about your route depends on sound.

Please tell us immediately, with the Surah and Ayah number. This is the most important report we can receive and it goes to the front of the queue.

The You screen exports everything Yabqa holds about you as a single file. Keep it somewhere safe. It can be read back into Yabqa later.

Also on the You screen. Deleting removes your saved route, your history and your email address, and it cannot be undone — so Yabqa asks you to confirm in words rather than with a single tap. If you would like us to do it instead, write to the address above.

It does not judge your recitation, mark your Tajwīd, or certify memorisation. It has no streaks, no points and no leaderboards. If a feature would push you to open an app rather than to revise, it is not in Yabqa.
